Front Wall Lighting |
For the last four years, I have been working on the Front Walls (East and West (West Side Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4). These went on either side of the Front Sidewalk. To give light to the night walkers, I needed to have some accent lights. In late November, 2013, I finalized the excavation on the West Side and connected up all the lighting to be controlled by the Home Automation System. |
Here I am trenching out to the wall from the left side of the stairs. There are two lights on each side. I have already done the right side. |
Here are both conduits. One for the wall accent light that lights the sidewalk and the other for the light that will go at the corner. |
From the other direction. You can see where the wires go through conduit cast into the wall. The yellow string helped me dig a straight trench. |
This is the conduit going under the stairs. Note all the wire all the way out through the conduits and into the fixtures is underground rated. The conduit helps to keep shovels from cutting it. |
