Volvo Headlights
  So it was inspection time. The vintage Volvo 240 DL was working perfectly. During the inspection, the brake lights were found to be inoperable. Salting the wound, the headlights were found to be too dim.

TOO DIM!!! How can lights be too dim? Well after finding that new lights cost $270/side, I decided to take my chances. Eventually I could drive with my High Beams on with no flashes from on-coming cars. The yellow haze damped all the brilliance from the beams.

Alas, state inspection is important. So I scoured the internet and found FCPGroton in Groton, CN where the price was right - $85/side. They sent them quick and in they went. Its like a road going white dwarf star now.
