Frosty's Christmas 2003

A few years ago, we saw these Christmas balloons popping up around the landscape. So, in keeping with our late adopter strategy, we waited a few years until everyone else caught up and bought one - us and the other 45,368 citizens of our area of the world. They are pretty neat. The little balloons come in many forms. We got the plain vanilla Frosty the Snowman, but other characters abound - just drive around.

Frosty Watching Over the House

Before Frosty was Born Frosty was born in China in a little cubical egg. His egg has a handy handle to easily transport him to his birthplace.

We had to take Frosty out of the egg ourselves. Then we set him on his stand and got his fan cord out. We hooked all his little tethers together and plugged him in, giving him his first breath of life. Snowman Being Born

Frosty's First Breath of Life Frosty's tummy fills out first, not unlike me. Junior gives him a hand. We eventually found the little zipper in his bottom and closed it, such that he grew a little faster.

Frosty grows taller than Junior. With his bottom zipped up, Frosty grew at an amazing rate. Note the conspicuous shortage of snow - guess where its all going!!

We were a little worried about Frost's head. It seemed as though his scarf was cutting air circulation from his head. We spotted some abnormal stitching that was strangeling Frosty! Luckly, Junior spotted this and we cut it loose. Frosty quickly revived and went on growing.

Frosty all Grown Up All grown up. Frosty joins the other festive decor of the season. We have since turned him towards the road to great well wishers and the UPS delivery folks.

There's plenty more adventure left! Click on one of the following to continue this festive tour of the Outcrop Acres Christmas 2003 fantasia:
